Персонал медпункта должен состоять из врача и медицинской сестры, но может также включать других сотрудников. В дополнение к непосредственно медицинским обязанностям в компетенцию работников медпункта входит ведение учета оказанной помощи; составление оперативных отчетов и отчетов о лечении пациентов; управление оборудованием и материалами; коммуникации; предоставление базы для работы медицинских бригад на объектах.

Station should be staffed by a physician and nurse and may include other support staff. In addition to the provision of medical care, staff duties include: documentation of care; operational and clinical reporting; management of equipment and supplies; communications; and base of operations for the venue medical teams.

OCOG's medical headquarters provide a base of operations and communication for the multi-site OCOG medical program implemented at venues, Olympic/Paralympic Village, IOC/IPC hotel, media center(s), as well as community-based EMS dispatch center, hospitals, and clinics. Activities supported by the MHQ include communication related to significant medical events, back-up medical volunteer staffing, medical supply inventory management, Olympic /Paralympic Family case management, resolution of operational issues at venues, etc.
